As promised, I took a few pics of my seat covers today...
As it was rainy, I had to just keep the car in the garage which was a bit on the dark side.
Please remember that these seat covers are almost ten years old and the car has done 96K miles (with kids and prams, etc included)!
I chose two greys and the stitching was done in yellow to blend in with the yellow car. This is a close-up of the driver seat squab.

As the passenger seat has a pocket in the rear, I got the covers made with a pocket which fits into the pocket so it can still be used. I forgot to take a photo of this feature...
I got the backs of the rear seats done in a washable vinyl so I can give them a wipe after I have something dirty in the boot.
And to solve the gap problem when the rear seat was fully forward, flaps were added which velcro to the parcel shelf to hide anything in the boot from view.
Hopefully that will give you some ideas for if you decide to get seat covers custom made...
