Guys

Ive just got a set of Team Heko wind deflectors off Ebay. Still selling for £32.02 with free delivery. bargain i thought

Well after receiving them late i was about to fit them to the panda. A quick inspection to make sure everything was ok revealed what appears to be faulty or incorrectly finished front deflectors.

Have the people that have fitted the same deflectors experience what mine have turned out to be

see
i made contact with the seller who stated these items were not faulty. When i fitted them you can cleary see gaps from the poor finshing.

I have emailed Heko UK to see if this is the usual standard

i have opened a case with Ebay and await a reasonable outcome. The seller wants me to send the deflectors back to germany which i can only assume wont be cheap, after deducting this from the £32 im not sure ill hav much left if any

i am seriously annoyed as i have read many good reports of high quality and perfectly good fitting deflectors

what do you recon guys. am i being fussy or are the poorly finished/faulty

That's the thing. I expect the deflector to follow the shape of the window perfectly.

Once fitted there is a gap. And I am drawn to looking at it.

been thinking of buying some myself, was a bit put off after reading instructions about them being held in with double sided tape or similar. i assume they sit in the glass chanel on the outside of the glass. has anyone had a problem fitting them ??

When you buy them new you get metal holding clips that push it flush to the outer rubber and allow full use of the window, replacements are about 15 quid for new clips, so make sure you buy new, it's only about 25 quid new

I had some heko wind deflectors on my last Punto, no clips only double sided tape which never stuck to the rubber. They never fell off though, they just moved a bit when I opened the window. I suppose you could bond them?
