Have done a search but not found much info but I was wondering if many of the 500 parts fit the Panda. Not so much the 100hp but more the 1.1/1.2 cars.

Eg the rear box on my 1.2 is rotting out so will need replacing soon. 500 boxes have the trim on, Panda ones don't. Will the 500 box fit?

Same with suspension parts. I've seen polybushes for the 500 on eBay but not for the Panda yet.

Wondering if 500 abarth suspension and wheels will fit as well.

Wheels will fit, box should fit, front suspension is different (bushes might be interchangeable though) and the rear suspension will fit with a little fettling (@Lewey did a thread)

You ok sir?
Yeah that's what the people were telling me.
I think anything that fits into the cup holders should also work....

The suspension can be used but there is a different cable holder on the front struts so its just a work around. Most bits for including steering wheels and seats

Front struts yes, but there are quite a few things which are not the same, such as strut top mounts, tie rod ends and most importantly the front arms.

I'm sure someone on here ran a set of 500 shocks. I was looking at a set of coilovers as they so expensive for the Panda but £100's cheaper for the 500

Yes, but in reality the suspension is all the moving bits that attach the wheel to the car which articulate the wheel. I knew what you meant, but others might not.

Well the rear silencer box I bought fitted a treat. I wanted a nicer looking finish so found a silencer for a 500 1.2 with a chrome oval tail pipe.

It turns out to have a slightly sportier note to the stock exhaust inside the car but not intrusive whilst outside the car it sounds no louder. Win win for me. Cost was £60. Well worth the extra.

Won't let me link to ad on my phone.

Hello, I just joined this forum after finding this thread. We have a Fiat 500 Abarth here in the US and where I live the roads are absolutely atrocious. I have been looking all over the internet for years to try and find a suspension for the car that will allow more travel. Today I learned the Panda and 500 share a platform. Would it help the comfort of the car over these broken roads to use springs, struts, and shocks meant for a Panda instead of 500 parts? I am trying to make it into a bit of a rally car. The OEM strut bearings are on the way out so I'm looking at replacing the struts and shocks anyway. If that doesn't work I'll probably source some KYB monotubes.

no idea

but the older 2005 panda with tall 155 tyres and softer suspension ride much better than a 2010 panda with lower profile stiffer suspension

I dont know if it the springs or struts or both thats different.

Our car came from the factory with 17" wheels, but now we have 205/55/15 tires on 15" aftermarket wheels. For winter we have a second set of the same wheels but in a 185/60/15, but they ride even worse! The summer tires ride pretty well, but a more compliant spring and damper package that allows for more body clearance would be nice. Then I could go with an even taller tire in the future.
