Our car came from the factory with 17" wheels, but now we have 205/55/15 tires on 15" aftermarket wheels. For winter we have a second set of the same wheels but in a 185/60/15, but they ride even worse! The summer tires ride pretty well, but a more compliant spring and damper package that allows for more body clearance would be nice. Then I could go with an even taller tire in the future.

mine were 155/80 R13

over an inch of extra side wall. Really smooths out small sharp edges of small pot holes.

most noticeable going over those small sleeping policemen we have here in the UK. Dont even notice them.

there's quite a difference between a 05 and 2010 in body stiffness

you can feel the difference just by pushing above the drivers doors. The 2010 is far stiffer. I suspect its the springs but have never checked

although they are basically the same the 500 has a wider track

Unfortunately we don't have any Pandas on this side of the pond, the 500 is the only Fiat mini platform vehicle in this market. If I had access to a Panda I could measure springs, count coils, etc.

500 rear axle a is a straight fit if you dont go wider than 5" wheels. It has a 1" wider track than 169 Panda so 100HP wheels will not fit. The integral anti roll bar used with 500 springs gives better ride and handling over bumps. 500 springs with Fiat Coupe bump stops also improve the ride on 100HP.

Front subframe is very unlikely to fit. Measure the 500 front strut top mounts between bolt centres and compare with 169. If it's wider then it's no go.

500 electric mirror controller can be used on 169. Carefully fit the mirror control switch to the 169 door card and use 500 door wiring loom. Loop the power across to passenger side mirror.
