I am looking to upgrade the front driver and passenger seats in my Panda 1.1 Active. I am mainly looking to get the drivers one done as when I bought it the material has been pushed back away from the frame, leaving no cushioning between the frame and the main seat. (I will post pics later on). This has resulted in the drivers seat being equivalent to sitting on a church pew.

As a result I am now looking to upgrade the seats to ones out of the 100hp. Will anything need to be adjusted or should it be a snug fit.

I have a 100hp and have the same problem (I think) :(
Lower back against the metal frame?
I think you'd be better off either buying some aftermarket ones or getting yours re-padded.

Try ringing around for car upholstery restorers, they may be a lot cheaper than you think - !!
and, not only will they re pad the seat, but can repair the covers if needed.
we have stacks here and dirt cheap. But I am sure in the UK there will be many - pic up a copy of a classic car mag, there should be plenty listed - or look on line. for a skilled person, it is not a time consuming job. Ours was done - base and back - seats out, covers off, repadded - covers on seats refit - less than 3 hours in total. - at 10 euros an hour.
Even at 40 quid an hour, its only 120 quid and its like new..
The 100hp, like the standard, suffers from lack of lateral support. The wear on the back bar is exaggerated me thinks due to the potentially higher cornering forces and driver sliding about - even on the 1.2 I use my knee to brace against the centre gear console on some bends ;)

Panda 4x4 seats aren't bad (y)

4*4 seats are probably harder to aquire than 100hp :p

For criz sake dont get any noddy seats out of an 'Abarth' 500 - apart from the fact that the source is probably 'dubious', they look absolutely ridiculous in a panda, let alone a 500... real 'hello kitty' style..:yuck:

Try for some out of a later ka .. you may be the first to attempt it, but same base model as panda / 500

The 500 option is quite popular.
And is down the owners individual taste.
I didn't mind as it meant I could acquire a decent set of seats from someone who upgraded.
My Active suffered a similar seat problem, & it worked out as a better option to replace the set. Also it matched the car.
Didn't like the yellow/black seats, anyway.:p

Check out the forum classifieds, that's what I did (y):worship:

I think the 500 'option' is popular with 500 owners. In a 500 they look like 'noddy goes camping' - in a panda, thay look absolutey ridiculous. The leather ones even more so. Fur coat and no knickers. :D

You are entitled to your own opinion.
Thankfully, another forum member didn't agree with you.

So, he got what he wanted, & so did I!;)

Came across a seat of regular Panda seats on ebay, brand new condition. Bought for £2 for the pair, can't complain :). Don't think I could of get them much cheaper.

£2? Two pounds? That's both legally and medically completely mental. Proper bargain.

There's a crashed 100hp on ebay in Mansfield that has the interior. That said, he wants £80 each for the 'scuffed' alloys.....

That's an absolute bargain (y)! If it was me selling them, I'd risk the negative feedback and not let them go for a mesely £2. Hopefully whoever you bought them off fears eBay's sanctions more than I would :p.
