Can someone with the official fiat sports pedal kit for the panda do me a huge favour

1) measure the dimensions of the clutch and break pedal (assume they are the same)
2) measure the dimensions of the accelerator pedal
3) the space between each pedal
4) measure the distance between the securing screw/bolt on each pedal and where they are positioned.

I think I found a set of sports pedal which look better and oe style. Just need to make sure they will fit

I tell you, just screw self tappers into the pedals... Works great.. :) :) :)
Sort of retro rally...
Worked for me even with nomex boots:D
I don't particularly want sports pedals, I prefer either standard equipment or stuff which can be easily returned to standard come sale time (aka, not screw holes in my pedals :p).

I've nothing against them though, they can brighten up the cabin quite a bit :).

Exactly it's a bit black and bland in cabin. I don't want outrageous in ya face ones. Just OEM looking ones. And there won't be screw holes if you just leave them in place you cheapskate ?

I do agree, I'm just very concious of the next buyer of my car thinking it's been owned by a boy racer, hence I'd want to take out "sports" pedals prior to sale. Unfortunately, this would leave screw holes in the original pedals underneath.

I do like the look of the OEM sports pedals for both the Panda and the 500, though they are bloody expensive for the 500 .

I wasn't saying I'd take them out for financial reasons, even I'm not that cheap haha :p!

Get is slammed and 'sick bruv' - or some other 'ting' 'innit' .....
I am sure thats what it is... (y) - see, total street cred.... :slayer: thats what ya need... !!

Or,.... hmmm.... was it multiple primary school sticker sets and black dulux on the lights..... ??? I forget, ,,, since I painted me wheels black bruv, yo ... I seem to have trouble keeping me jeans over me Calvins.....

Age, its a terrible thing... :bang:

To be honest I didn't even realise they were "sports" pedals in mine till this thread!
I thought they were standard on the 100HP.

They are quite nice.. I am sure I have seen a similar - more textured set - possibly at DT or similar ??
We actually used to use an aluminium mesh set - hard to describe - not checkerplate - it was like a mesh - little diamonds straight through - only about 6 or 8 mm per side on the diamonds - superb grip - sold them at Mini Sport at Padiham when I worked there - but that was late 70's early 80's - they had a trimmed edge so were stamped or cast - possibly cast - could even have been John Mangoletsi of the inlet manifold fame that made them.... twas a long time ago though...
I used to drive in stocking feet on night rallies. :D (until we could afford nomex - and we only used them cos they were so light to allow feel..
They do look good though !! - your pedals, not me feet ! ;)

Let's hope that pedal set I've ordered is not too different to these dimensions. They should arrive tomorrow
