Thanks again, it's the centre section i require. According to the MOT advisory it has a leak at the flexi pipe which i assume is the part straight after the join with the manifold/cat.

Hi, yes, it is the whole centre section - part 2 in the diagram.

51788194 AUXILIARY SILENCER
CENTRAL EXHAUST SILENCER Availability: Product that can be ordered D Weight (grams): 8350
Listed price(1): 179.66 GBP
Price including taxes: 215.59 GBP

It must be rather substantial to be 8.3Kg !! - should hopefully last as long as the other..
Change the bottom stabiliser bar on the gearbox to chassis at the same time - this can AND DOES get weak and causes a lot of engine movement.
Not an mot failure or warning usually as they look fine - they just go soft.. they are ony about 22 quid new (the 100HP is cheaper than the 1.2 ! - half price - my 1.2 has one lol) this will assist the longevity of the new section.
its part 9 on this image - actually 30 squids in UK,! yikes, only 25 Euro in Portugal... anyways, thats the beastie..
Hope that is of use.

Details for tie bar
51739522 ROD
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION INSERTS AND SUPPORTS
Weight (grams): 522
Listed price: 25.12 GBP
Price including taxes: 30.14 GBP

ps - edit - those prices are from my 11 / 2013 price list database. but should be virutally the same.

Seems quite expensive for a centre section, I need to get under the car and see what the overallcondition of the section is, if it looks good I might just try a repair piece for the flexi, alternatively I might just fit a straight through centre section and get rid of the flexi altogether. Thanks again.

No worries, I would not get rid of the flexi piece though, it is there for a very good reason.
Perhaps look at a custom exhaust place and get them to make you one up in Stainless ? -
Whatever, best of luck with it.

Is there any chance you could post an exhaust diagram for a Fiat 500 1.4 16v, i can find a centre section for one of these for around £80 and was under the impression the exhausts were the same.

gets better lol :) - they will be pattern exhausts, and definitely not as long lasting as the original, but, it is well worth it at that price me thinks.
Nice one mate, happy exhausting.. ;)
