Its definitely better than the stock plain black trim and the first pain job!

I'm just surprised how well the finish looks using spray can. Did you re sand it again?

This definitely improves the look of the car, I'd maybe have used a bit more lacquer to give the paint that extra shine but still great job

The only snag I see is that it'll be noticeable if someone rubs against your side rubbing strips. You'll need to park more carefully, so that you don't get a bump from a trolley or a door.

Lots of cars don't have plastic side rubbing strips at all (the 100HP to name but one). Parking properly really shouldn't be too much of an issue, especially in a car as small and square as a Panda.

Yes, I resanded. Had to sand off the lacquer from the first wrong colour.
On what I'd painted I used two 300ml cans. I agree, I should have used more coats of lacquer. Next weekend I plan to polish and wax the whole car, hopefully that will help the shine.
My opinion is that the same colour over the whole car makes it look like a better spec. Most other cars adopt that approach on their models - black trims for basic, coloured for higher spec.
Parking doesn't worry me so much in the Panda, it's very small in length and width. My other car is a Hyundai Coupe which is much bigger and has massive doors.
Overall though I'm really chuffed with the results. Especially now the white wheels aren't quite so bright too! Turns out I'm not bad at using spray cans! :slayer:

I have to say you've done a cracking job with a spray can especially considering that it's the middle of winter!!!!!

Thanks! As said before, this is only my second painting project - the first being the wheel trims.
And I did the spraying inside my garage (which is far from airtight) but did have a plug-in heater to hand to help bake the paint on.
