Styling Can i put small mirrors on?

Having had a 500 with its bigger mirrors as a courtesy car for a few weeks, I now see the value of them. I use my mirrors a lot and the view in the bigger ones is so much better... (y)

The new & improved larger Panda Mk3 mirrors are way better than the 500 mirrors :).

What with moving house, both cars are seeing use as vans & the Panda beats the 500 hands down as a load carrier. The larger mirrors on the Panda are extremely useful once the view in the interior mirror consists entirely of furniture.

Lol. I remember moving house with my Panda. I was able to move everything by myself except for the carcass of my tallboy and my sofa.

Can see the benefits of larger wing mirrors for obvious reasons, but personally think the smaller ones suit the style of the panda much more than the rounded shape of the larger ones.

Just followed a 'larger eared' panda, nope MUCH prefer the smaller more pointy almost elf like 'ears', might have to change the name of mine to Frodo!

I'm the other way (so to speak haha) but if everyone was the same it'd be a dull world!

:shakehead: ;)

Practicality over looks any day :D

They are a straight swap I had to do mine. I ordered 2010 model ones from Europarts but they were the small ones so had to take them back.

In the end I had to buy one from the main stealer, cost me shy of £100 for a manual black one!! I think the new shape Panda uses the same mirrors so hopefully the big ones will become more common on the used market.

I personally think the big ones look a bit ugly but much prefer them for a safety point of view.

i agree that the small ones do look far far better, but I'm not too sure what to search in all honesty to find them to put on my 100hp.

I'm really want some as I'm fed up of having such big ears on my car! they look HANUS lol

Yep that's it although I reckon you could get them a lot cheaper second hand.

I paid £88 for a pair for Eurocarparts last year. You have to re-use your current temperature sensor but otherwise reasonably straightforward.

Also - they DO NOT come with new 'nuts' so any plans to cut those off need to be avoided.

I'm probably going to be all alone in this camp, but I think the small ones look too small, and the big ones too big!

I didn't realise there were different ones until I saw a newer Panda with these MASSIVE EARS which looked rather silly.

When I test drove the Panda for the first time, I couldn't believe how small the mirrors were!! They look a tad aftermarket..

You will re-use the inner plastic cover and the large-diameter nut. You will also re-use your temp sensor if you have one.

The mirror and outer black triangle is one thing.
