Very nice! although I do think the big mirrors look wrong but that's just my preference.......less than twenty four hours and already modded..:D

thanks guys! :) well the red was already on it :p and the wheels :p so no mods at all by me lol but ive already done the air filter to a cone filter which sounds sweet and LED's for side lights but i need a canbus converter so the warning doesnt come on.

Good luck with that, I tried four different so called 'error free' canbus bulbs and they all threw up failure warnings.

Well I now have full LEDs everywhere I can lol the only place I haven't is the licence plate ones. Only reason is because I haven't got any canbus ones left. I have some normal LEDs that I tried in the lisence plate, they came on but shortly went off LOL after turning on the lights lol. I have always used LEDs in cars. But really You need to use the PRISM 501 converters they work very well and do not brake like canbus 501s. Hope that helps

Well, not according to the description:

REPLACES STANDARD 501 CAPLESS BULBS.
FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY.

They must be brighter even than LED's

basically in general all LED's are the same. each differently designed LED replacement for a standard bulb will only differentiate in how many LED's there is and the placement of them. none of them have different rules on how they effect the can bus system'd cars or output technically (only 1W or 2W most common being 1W)

with that in mind, the designs differences ultimately can end up with the bulbs looking brighter or better spread. i usually go for front facing LED's for side lights others go for the ones which have LED's on the side. But most people don't look into depth with them lol you can also get glass covered ones for protection against water and the like. they tend to have a nice presence for side lights as you cannot see the LED and they admit a good evenly spread light :)

hope this helps

Bit pricey.. £6.99 each from Halfords but I really want LED front sidelights so i'll be getting some of these. (y)

i got mine from halfords, as lets be honest having staff discounts make it worth while lol we sell both PRISM 501's and resistor packs. just a case of linking them together that all. :)

I have to do a weekly 300 mile round trip and find this is accomplished without any aches or pains in quick time. 2010 model has no blue tooth phone. Go for the low miles providing you can verify this with some certainty. Prices vary wildly use autotrader as there are a few bargains if you look hard.

I have owned over 5 dozen cars and without doubt the 100HP is the overall best and certainly the quickest on a cross country driver shaming bigger and supposedly more powerful machines. I want another one so I can keep one with low miles and have one for everyday. I have had a window regulator fail and new bump stops required to stop the suspension knock = this was an irritation but not of mechanical consequence. Notablr the car rides a lot better without bumpstops so I suspect the idea on here of fitting standard cars short bump stops might be a good idea.

CHECK THE WHEEL RIMS these are £380 each and are often and easily bent on the inside edge. I would take the proposed car to a tyre depot and check the tyres and rims carefully. I had a complete tread delamination on the cheap tyres fitted when I bought the car. I now run Toyo's and they are very good indeed.

Thanks for the advice mate, im no stranger to buying cars though :)
the wheels and tyres are all brand new (receipted for 3 months back)

I ran a red 100hp 2007 for under a year at 20kish miles and I couldnt recommend it for anything other than track day use or a brief hard core ownership period .The suspension especially rear is RIDICULOUSLY hard .A lowered MX5 was like a Citroen air suspension in comparison .

Funny you should say that, my other car is a 1991 Eunos Roadster (Jap import MX5) former hillclimb/track car with MazdaSpeed racing suspension and cage.

You'll never guess which one is more comfortable to drive on the road :p
