I have to remove the drivers airbag on my 2004 panda to fit new indicator/wiper switches. The Haynes manual shows the position of the 3 clips and the access holes on the steering wheel. What I am trying to find out is do you need to pull toward, push away, push up or push down, each clip to release ?
Any advice or instruction, would be great
Thanks
Tony

Clips push / slide in towards the centre of the steering wheel. This pic of what it looks like removed might assist :)

Thanks very much for the info and the photo's. After disconnecting the battery and letting charge drain from airbag, If I press gently against the grey spring/rod pushing it inwards towards the centre of the steering wheel, then they will release? Just wanted to double check with you.
Thanks again for your earlier reply

Hi Tony, just realised, senior moment on my part, they push/slide away from the center of the wheel, not towards it  (Sorry).
