Styling Ordered a simple rear spoiler.

Hey, I want to buy one, does anyone have it, because with the Last post I dont think it is secure to buy one from that links. I would be very pleasent if someone help me ?

I'm not really into modifying my cars but must admit to being quite tempted by these. I think the roof spoiler really adds something to the Panda's rather abrupt ending:) It's like it got confused and decided to leave the room mid-sentence.

Just wondered, has anyone noticed if the Panda roof spoiler does anything to keep the rear window more free from spray by clearing up the airflow?

I have a 100HP (with spoiler) Mrs has a 1.2 (no spoiler). I cant tell any difference in the amount of water hitting the rear screen. Both have wipers so it's really no an issue.

The Panda can get noisy around the windscreen top - I imagine air tumbles as it shoots off the screen and impacts the roof panel. A peak cap type spoiler would probably help to rotate the airflow but nothing exists and as for the looks of such a thing ...

Had one fitted for a little while now, and no it has no effect on keeping the rear screen clear of spray, but I do like the look of it:)

Ordered mine direct from Team HEKO. Arrived quickly, easy to fix, I'm very happy with it.

Roof spoilers tip the air upwards pushing the turbulent low pressure area a little further back. It does nothing to stop water kicked up by the wheels and tumbling into the back of the car.
Looks - nice. 1/10 mpg improvement - probably. Keeping window clean - not a chance.

Yes, I've found my fuel economy has improved noticably since fitting the spoiler.

I was getting 49-50mpg, now averaging 52mpg (by the onboard computer...)

OK so it's more like a 5% improvement, but then most of my driving is on country lanes with all the braking and accelerating that goes with it. I really notice the difference on long motorway runs, when the computer suggests I'm getting about 54mpg.

Sort of wish I'd calculated my mpg accurately now for a proper before / after comparison. Still, that's my kind of modification - one that pays for itself:D

Hi guys,I have a question. I bought the spoiler through the heko store and super happy. In a week I had it in my house.

I wanted to know if those of you who have already assembled it have had problems with the glue that comes with it. I don't know if just those small strips is enough or if it is better to reinforce it with 3m double-sided tape or even silicone.

I would not like it to come loose and hit someone causing an accident.

Besides, it is an area that continuously receives impacts when closing the trunk.

Thank you very much ☺️. I hope I don't bother with such a long message.

As soon as I have it mounted I upload photos.

Thanks in advance

Hi dimo, I did not add any extra adhesive, just the strips that came attached to the spoiler. It holds in place perfectly well.

In fact, it really is very sticky - I would advise to get the position correct before removing the backing tape to make sure it is central and won't catch on the roof when you open the boot.

Thank you very much for answering so quickly, I'll put it tomorrow and upload a photo.

However, I have bought two dynamic led turn signals on aliexpress. I've been with them for a month. Soon you will have the review. For only 14 euros they give a very modern look. You have videos on Youtube:)

The Panda rear hatch does tend to slam pretty hard. However, worn out struts on the rear hatch will overload the hinges and cause it to slam shut harder that it's designed to do. If the hinges clunk when it's fully open - you need new struts. The clunk is caused by the oil level inside the strut being too low and losing the damping action.

What the current cost please?
Hi Panda Nut, we've just been discussing this on another thread: https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/100hp-spoiler-on-my-dynamic.502860/#post-4716988

The OP there found an eBay seller in Latvia with limited stock (all gone now) at £39 + £20 postage...
...but it never arrived.

The roof spoiler has shown as unavailable to order from the Team Heko site for at least a year now, so it might be out of production.

Post Brexit, they wanted over £100 to ship to UK, then it showed unavailable in UK, now it's not available to select for any country.

Who knows if it will come back at this point? Maybe if they get enough enquiries they might get another batch made?

Only option at present would seem to be find a tuning shop with old stock, or source an alternative spoiler.

PandaMime on YouTube found one that's drilled and bolted to the tailgate:

@The Panda Nut Laudorshop in the Netherlands still shows them as available, either as a set for the five doors @ €82.95, or individually (Dakspoiler) @ €39.95
