Hi guys, Im kind of new here.

My Panda was manuf. in 2005. When start and engine is cold, everything is fine and engine running smoothly. As the temp. reach normal the vehicle is misfiring and the eng light is flashing permanently...orange colour. Can it be a coil...I mean can it be sometimes okay and when getting hot giving problems?
How can I test a coil without connecting to a computer?
Thanks:)

hi,
coil packs can and DO cause these kind of issues, relatively cheap to replace also.
BUT as was said a reading of the codes is a LOT more scientific..,

if money is tight ..remove the spark plugs and check their colours = they should all LOOK the same ,
any differences mean that particular cylinder is burning differently,
however there are several potential causes for this..,

you could buy a basic code reader that will give you most details for @ £20 - no idea what that is in Rand,

anyway let us know what you find,

Charlie

As suggested above it is best to get the codes read before making any decisions but my dads 2005 1.2 had a misfire problem and it did eventually turn out to be the coil pack that needed sorting
