I have been on the lookout to buy a panda cross for a while for my wife (as I she refuses to drive my Sisley- no power steering!!) I want one with a glass roof, today I have been and had a look and a test ride in one at a Vauxhall garage at Melton Mowbray,this is on ebay at the moment.(FP58FBB)
In amongst the paperwork for the car was a printout of a post on the fiat forum from a PaulD who I think was the first owner (second owner was someone from Oakham).
The post was about the dodgy solenoid valve.
I wanted to know if any of you guys know of this car? would this problem have been sorted, was it part of a recall? and is there any more things I should look out for on panda cross's. It seemed to drive ok and looked in good condition for its 41000 miles.
Any info would be appreciated before I take the plunge! and have two Panda's on the drive!

We've had ours from new, it's got 27k on it now and so far, all good except the climate/air on needed re-gassing last year and sounds like it needs doing again.
So touch wood, it's been pretty good so far.
I will be buying an extended warranty when the 3 years are up in August, just for peace if mind .... ;-)

Sounds like you've an AC leak
