Panda Panda 100HP project (cooperman style!)

Introduction

Right thought I would start a thread as there are a few mods happening to my panda and wanted somewhere to have them all in one place! I have owned my 100HP since 2010 and love it! She gets serviced at fiat evry year and had belts and water pump replaced last year. I wanted to start modding her but not go OTT as been there and done it before! Hopefully you guys like it!
So this is what I have done:

Really happy with the way the car is coming on! The rear end is looking nice and fat, will be looking at getting a silver rear fog light bulb to balance up the lights and looking at spacers the same as Demi has to fill the arches a bit more. All 4 tyres will be getting replaced also for Toyo T1R's as got some cheap front tyres put at the mo and had enough of them!! Lesson learnt!
Well the Pandavan has its service with Fiat tomorrow, had the belts and major service done last year so fingers crossed there won't be to much on this one! Got a feeling the disc's and pads will need replacing all round!! I am also going to do a walk round before and after with the service manager as the last 2 times it has gone in it has come back with marks on the rear doors which look like they are from a airline/hoover but i never notice them till i come to wash the car which is normally a month after! Fingers crossed for a small bill!! :)
I will also see if I can get the part no for the LHD 100HP right rear light while i'm down there!

Just received the call from Fiat and no real issues with the pandavan's service which is great! :D
Having the rear pads done as they where getting a bit low and they advised the rear shocks could due with replacing which is a right result as wanted to upgrade them to Koni STR.T ones which have now been ordered through DCperformance as they were only £95 for the pair including postage!

Didn't fancy some adjustable coils?!
Did think of them but I know what i'm like i'll just be adjusting them all the time!!! This way I fit them and forget about them! :)
Oh and just found out that the STR shock are on back order from Koni and are expected in the first week of May!!!! Have rung round a few other places today and they are all telling me the same thing which is a bit pants!!! Have seen them on ebay for £125.00 but as i'm in no rush and its a job I can do at home I'll wait!

New (sexy) wheels and Tyres ordered!! Gone for Toyo T1-R tyes but wont tell you the style of wheel until I have them fitted with a picture!!! ;)

When are they arriving?

Should be mid next week, having them skimmed so the offset is 30 and pcd is 98 which is bang on.
Just need to buy new front top mounts for when I replace the springs I can do them as it was a advise from the service. :D
In the meantime was clearing out the garage and thought I'd take a pic of my 2 toys! My other ride is a Ratrod Lowrider! Thinking of doing it the same colours as the panda! :D

As there has been a few new owners posting pictures of their shinney Panda's thought I'd go and give the Pandavan a good clean! :D
I had to tuck her back in the garage when it started to snow (WTF!!) and had the camera on my phone on the smallest setting so pics are not great but she is looking FRESH!!

Got up early and done a few tidying bits this morning, the paint was coming off the drivers wiper arm so removed it, sanded it, and gave it a fresh coat of paint! Cheap and easy!

After:

Also while i had the bonnet open the air box bolts where looking worst for wear so gave them a coat of paint also! Took my BMC air panel out to see how its holding up, 20,000miles on it and still looks like new!

So a good morning!! :D

Had a play around today and 'sticker bombed' the inside of the fuel flap, I know its one of those styling fades that in 6 months time will look pants (remember 3 spoke wheels!!) but I think it looks alright! something a bit different!

Also had my new wheels/tyres delivered so thought i'd take a picture of the new toys I have to fit on Wednesday! :D

Clues on the wheels!!

They are retro style that is all i'm saying at the mo!! :D But like all good R&D projects the best laid plans always come undone, When I unpacked them straight away the rear hub face on the new wheels looked big! After taking the original wheel off this morning and test fitting the new wheel there is rubbing between the wheel and the caliper, will speak to the wheel guys tomorrow but looking at it a 15mm spacer would give it perfect clearance, not ideal as wanted to keep them to original spec but the plus side is they will sit in the arches perfect. (best thing would be to cut a step into the wheel so it clears the caliper but got a feeling they will not go for that!!)
Still this is what makes these projects fun and when you go outside of the normal this was bound to happen!

Have to say a big thank you to Gary at rimstyle as he has been soo helpful with this project!! He is sorting me out spacers and longer wheel bolts to help with fitting at no extra cost, if you looking for wheels I can't recommend them enough! If I had the money would of gone for these!! (y)

So is that the sort of style you have gone for? Very Euro! I have a thing for for the Ronal Turbos.
