It doesn't happen every time but have just bought a Panda and yesterday it wouldn't start straight away. All clocks flickered and clock reset. After a minute to two and a rev it started. Did the same again at lunchtime. Battery fine, and it's only got 30k on the clock and has just had a service! Any ideas please.

Check the earth connection on the battery?
