My Panda time has come to an end. My circumstances have changed, so I have part exchanged my 100HP for a 2004 BMW 5 Series Touring 3.0 M Sport. Direct swap + I pay for a warranty. Good deal as the Panda is due a service, cambelt, MOT, tax.

Farewell my bouncy suspension colleagues.

A direct swap, you say?

HOW?

Can you tell us how you managed this straight swap deal as it sounds too good to be true considering a 100HP can be £5k (end of line model) & below for private sale.

The BMW was for sale for £4,500 I got £4,500 for the Panda. The BMW has 96,000 miles on the clock. Engine feels fine. Lovely drive all round and better than my old Audi A6. I'm pleased.

(Not really comparing with the Panda as the BMW is obviously a very different car with a different purpose in life to the Panda!).

Best of luck with that one. From my experience with BMW and Mercedes, you would be better off with your Panda!

That's crazy cheap for a car like that, but I guess depreciation and fuel costs hit harder than I thought.

Nice swap!

I think I have just bought your old car Trefor! Have wanted a 100hp since seeing one in South Africa in 2009.
Let the bouncy fun and games begin ;-)
