Hi, the temp control down button and the fan down buttons keep sticking ( I think my son got sand inside the button?) If I pop them out with a credit card all works ok but soon as I use the control and push it in it sticks and stays pushed in (either causing the temp to go right down to air con or the fan to switch off) I then need to pop it out again with the cc. Is there a way I can remove the button front totally to check if it's sand that has got behind and that I can vacume out or does the whole dash have to come off?? I don't want to force the button out and break it. Any advice would be welcome before i spend a lot of money at a garage.

Might need a new control panel with the button on if sticking. My advise would be to set desired temp 21-24C and then leave it all alone, hitting auto when you want it on as this will regulate the fan speed and off if it gets too warm.

That's a pain. It does sound unusual though, and might not have been covered anyway.

I assume you've tried blowing around it? Might be worth attacking it with a vacuum cleaner with the brush tube attachment piece and trying to push it at the same time to see if it'll dislodge and suck out the offending debris
