I'm thinking of changing my front seats for more comfy ones like the below as I find the standard ones quite hard, would there be a problem fitting seats like this due to the seat belt location.

No, but you will have a problem with the seat fixings, runners, etc - unless you have metalworking facilites to hand such as a MIG welder and plenty of patience, the only seats going in are standard or possibly those from a (koff) 500.

If I get a set of "Abarth 500" standard front seats will they fit straight in / straight swap with no adjustments to the sub-frame etc

I would say try any seat before you buy.

The best aftermarket recliners are Recaros. You can get them second hand. Seats like the Recaros that come in DC2's are ideal.

Obviously you'll have to work out how you are going to fit them to the Fiat runners as I doubt Recaro will do one off the shelf.
