hi folks,newbie Del here...
iv just bought a Panda Multijet Sporting which has a wee bit of a problem...
when accelerating,if i press the throttle about an inch she pulls no problem,if i press it more she struggles and i have to lift off a bit to get her to pull...
once the turbo has kicked in,she pulls like a train and i can put my foot right down with no problems...
hot or cold,she does it all the time,more so on m/way driving,if im sitting at 60mph and i put the foot down to overtake,if she's not above the 3000rpm for the turbo,she actually slows down and you feel yourself falling forward in the seat!...
iv given her a full service,changed the airflow sensor at the airbox and the one in the inlet manifold and also filled her with V-Power diesel and Millers Sport additive,thinking it would help,but sadly not...
anyone got any help thats mabey had the same thing on their 1.3 cdti MJ?...

ok, update time...
iv de-cat'd it,fitted a brand new Pierburg EGR valve,changed the MAF sensor,changed the inlet manifold pressure sensor,checked all the turbo workings and waste gate (all fine),had it plugged into Fiats main computer (no joy there either) and just changed the throttle pedal and its still the same!...
goes a helluva lot better when the turbo kicks in now that its de-cat'd rite enuf!...
im running out of options and things to change,anyone got any ideas of where to look next?...

Now you've had it decat'd i'd recommend having it remaped, any good tuner will sort the throttle problem you have out too. Just a shame the 100HP ecu can't be remaped.
 
sorted guys!!!...
on closer inspection of the turbo assembly,i noticed the waste gate operation valve was out of line and the small threaded shaft that comes out the bottom was rubbing on the valve body which was stopping it from operating properly!!!...
a bit of vice work,rebending and reshaping of the bracket done the trick...
so,iv got a Panda Sporting with a de-cat,superchip,new EGR valve,new throttle pedal and a clean bill of health from Fiat,which goes like a NUTCASE on acceleration!!!...
just thought i'd let you all know incase one of you find you may come across the same as i did...
