I have just returned from the Irish Motor Show and was surprised to see that the Fiat Panda, in stunning Baby Blue, on display had a Japanese made Denso alternator. Denso, as far as I know, are the main supplier to Toyota of electrical components.

Denso are a massive company and afaik not completely owned by toyota.

For example nearly every tractor manufacturer fits Denso radiators/cooling packs.
