Yesterday the brake fluid warning indicator started telling me I had low fluid and should stop the car. The display flashed and I heard a regular beep. However the fluid level is fine MAX and the brakes are working on too? Anu idea what is going on. Thanks

maybe your brake pads are worn and the indicator is warning you to change them

Quite a few previous threads on this - the wire to the connector on the brake fluid reservoir isn't quite long enough and over time fatigues and breaks - when it goes open circuit, the warning light etc is activated. I'd put money on this being the problem as I believe none of the panda range have brake pad wear indicators.

The float which acts as the switch can also get jammed too, although I have never seen this cause them to jam so the light is on, only rather worryingly the other way round.
