Are the front foglights on a 100HP easy to remove if they stop working for any reason..?

A Step bu Step guide would be useful if anyone has removed them.

Has anyone actually used their front foglights?
Never, we don't tend to have fog that needs them - I only use them to flash other people who decide that on a brightly lit motorway with visibility of like miles, they see a slight mist and then decide to put their rear fogs on - therefore totally screwing up your vision if behind them for some time (which doesn't tend to be for long )

Never. Can't say they'd be any use other than in a proper pea soup on a very narrow country lane. I have, however, spent most of the last 5 months with the main lights on. Seems a good default setting, especially as they automatically turn off with the ignition.

I'll have a go this weekend and may post a pic as I want to add a "yellow" tint to them, give the car a Euro look. :)

Me to! Still can't believe how people don't see you coming though :bang:

its rare you need them, but when you really do they are worth every penny

There are days when you're just invisible and there's nothing you can do about it - if one ar----le drives as though you're not there you can bet there'll be another along shortly.

No one seems to have answered the actual question>
Under the bumper is a large black screw with a Torx head, next to a downwards-facing hole (thorugh which you can adjust the level of the foglamp beam using a small socket). Loosen and remove this screw. On the front, around the bezel are two more black-headed screws which are Allen headed. Remove these as well. The whole lamp and mounting bracket can be eased out through the front of the bumper. The wiring plug can be detached by releasing the clip holding it to the lamp body, and the lamp itself is accessed by unscrewing the large plastic rear cover. This has to be put back very tightly as otherwise, water gets in.

I'll search in a tick as someone posted photos a fair while back. On the 100HP the light easily comes out. On other models, the bumpers are less deep and the light is more fiddly to get out, and even more so to put back...

Later...
Here's the search result: seems the 100HP is actually rather easier - read posts 5 and 6
