Guys,

I'm looking at the group N Ragazzon exhaust with the straight through centre section, i really wanted to go the Magnetti Mareli route as i think it looks alot better, but i can get the complete Ragazzon for the price of the Magnetti backbox.

Gazella do the centre and backbox for the group N at circa £270 inc vat which i think is pretty good! Has anyone bought a Ragazzon through Gazella?

The only downside for me with the Ragazzon is that the centre section looks like it requires chopping up of the original centre to fit, is this right? Remus do a straight through section that looks like it just bolts straight on, but is abit more expensive and not sure if it would fit the Ragazzon backbox..

I have a centre and Group N backbox on mine - but I got mine 2nd hand and not through Gazella.

As for chopping off - yes, Dave on here fitted it for me and I recall him having to get his chopper out :D

The exhuast has been dropped since then and resealed. I love it

Good stuff Stu, thats what i wanted to hear! i've had my 100hp four years now and 60,000 on the standard exhaust, so it's time to treat the old girl, they sound pretty raspy on the vids i've seen, and pop abit, which is what i like!

Dave, your right i could do, but i'm abit weird when it comes to this stuff, i'd only put an italian brand exhaust on it as it feel it goes with the car and the Ragazzons/Magnettis do have a certain sound to them that others don't seem to have. If someone asked me what exhaust i have i'd much rather be able to say something cool like magnetti mareli or Ragazzon, instead of 'Powerflow' urgh. Retarded i know!

Haha fair enough Dave, don't work for them do you? ;-) Pretty sure i'll go the Ragazzon route as i know i'll like it, but where are Torque exhausts based? do they have a website?

Stu- no unfortunately not.. by the way whats the group N like at motorway speeds? Also does the car feel any better than when it was stock or is it pretty much the same?

Define what speed you think is Motorway speed :)

But basically loud - however, I am so used to it now that I don't blink an eye - just turn the stereo up and sorted. I really believe if I was to go into a stock 100HP I would be amazed

As for feeling any better - well it already had a GSR on it, so it was never stock to begin with.

We really need to drive a stock one vs mine back to back to feel/see/hear the difference.

EN3 4LE

i dont work there but know a few members that have used them, they can give you any sound you like, most go for quiet at cruising speed with a roar when you put your foot down, they use a higher quality stainless steel than powerflow

here is tims

The Remus looks to be mild steel with their usual black wrinkle finish, flippin expensive if that's the case, would go for stainless myself, having said that, the Raggazon isn't the best quality stainless, but would almost certainly outlive the car.

Good point Randy, i didn't notice it wasn't stainless. I can imagine the ragazzon isnt the best quality stainless but as you say it'll still last longer than the car and at £260 odd you can't complain!

This might be a bit off topic, but does the group N exhaust effect the car when it gets MOT'd?

Not off topic as it's a valid point, ours has an E marked serial number, which in theory, should keep it legal in the sense it has been tested to current db guidelines that have been set. Not sure if the group N carries an E marking if at all, what i do know is they make noise

Thankyou, I know the exhaust on my bike hasn't got any E markings, I just have to get the noise test done by a good friend who has a very innacurate db tester! ;)

Agreed.. certainly when it comes to bikes, but horses seriously hate Microns lol, living in the sticks i soon found that out.. especially two strokes! :D
