Hi nuovapanda, thanks for the warm words of welcome - I come from an age when the name FIAT was enought to strike terror in the heart of some of the car buying public - great to have watched them come up in the world - I was never brave enought to actually buy a Fiat but with this new Panda, I am already setting up a few test drive dates.

I have a round trip of 82 miles a day and the diesel is what I have in mind. I think the spec here in Ireland might be different - I read one of the posts as saying that it is not available in the full spec range. Here in Ire it comes in the Dynamic but can be ordered in Active and Emotion etc. Price will climb accordingly, they are already expensive in this dear little country.

The forum is proving a great help to me in making this choice.

Hi folks, new Panda owner alert!
Hopefully pick ours up on sunday, 18 month old Dynamic in vanilla yellow with alloys & cd player.Not sure if it's the Dynamic sound or not though as its got the stereo controls on the steering wheel & its got alot of bass!

Hi my wife is a new panda 1.1 active bog standard owner - loves the car and so do i - got it for just over 5k new very happy - bargain!

Have just bought my Panda 4x4 today. Very happy with it so far.

Contemplating a new Panda at the moment...it's between that or the new Punto. But i'm swaying towards the Panda at the moment...The Punto does suit my image a little better...but i can so ride that Panda! Looking into getting the 1.3 MJet Dynamic in i think it's called Calypso Turqoise!
