Hi,
I've just bought a Tevion CD Radio HU with all the knobs on (MP3,USB, Bluetooth, SD card etc) at a bargain price from Aldi (£29.99!! (y)).

When I removed the HU (2009 1.1 Active Eco), I found 3 plugs labelled A, B and C. The C connector is actually 3 plugs in one and colour coded.

The new unit has only 2 plugs A and B. I've read somewhere that the extra one is a can bus connection.

Can anyone tell me is it OK to leave these connections off?

Also, will I need to connect a ignition controlled feed to the unit for it to switch off from the key and how do I do it?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the info, that's just what I was looking for

Once up and running, can you let us know what you think of your new unit, compared with the original Panda item? Thinking of changing mine too...

Ta, James

Hiya dawpooldad

Plug C does not need to be pluged in as it is only used if you have a CD Changer/Steering Controls/Hands free kit installed in the vehicle. The only important cables to worry about is Plug A and B

Regards to the ignition switch, it's on Plug A. So you shouldn't need to change any wiring.
