Good thing about the Active, no rev counter to distract you, just change up when you hear the valves bouncing!
I own a Fiat 500 utility estate
I can never tell what gear the damn thing's in from the engine note (seems too quiet) - often take it out of peg just to confirm it was in the one I thought it was (mainly trying to work out if I'm in 3rd or 5th)
So for me, it's not 'cos I'm tight, but the 1.1 Active with the unpainted bumpers, plain seats and sod all else was a no brainer! There was just nothing else out there that matches it.
Well I suppose you could always just buy two black bumpers! Definitely cheaper if you're fitting them yourself. You could then sell your undamaged front bumper on fleabay & maybe even come out ahead on the deal.
Plus will probably spend as much trying to keep them black with autoglym bumper care over the years.
On 'Wrecks to Riches' or something similar, the detailling/paint guy suggested using smooth peanut butter to restore black bumpers. The final result certainly looked 'tasty'
Have seen that tip a few different places. Problem is I would eat it before getting it on the car lolOn 'Wrecks to Riches' or something similar, the detailling/paint guy suggested using smooth peanut butter to restore black bumpers. The final result certainly looked 'tasty'
