I have another question and I was hoping I could trouble you guys again. When I picked up my 100HP the dealer told me there was no need to restrict the revs until the engine had bedded in. He said I should just drive the car normally and just vary the revs used but dont cane it. I already knew this anyway as thats what modern engines require. However he also said that the ecu restricts the power until the engine has done 2000 miles anyway.
I have some previous experience of this Fiat dealership and even though they are nice guys they do tend to make a lot of things up. So I didnt exactly take his word for it as it sounded wrong to me. The obvious question then is does the ecu restrict the power until the engine has done 2k? I hope not because with the limited mileage I do I wont get full power for about 6 months!!
