 Hi all. As a new member. Could anyone advise or show any 100hp's on 17's. I was looking to add the 17 abarth multi spoke wheels from the 500 onto my recently bought red 100hp. I know the pcd is identical and 5mm difference on offset, just wondering if 17's are a bit extreme. any advise would be much appreciated.

your wheels atm are 15" ok and you want to take it to 17" just look at how low the profile is going to be on the rim

i wouldnt advise going bigger than 15 or 16" at the most

17's should fit as i tried a 19inch on the back of my 100hp and was just to big, so should be ok but you will loose performance with bigger wheels i even noticed wen put 17's on a more powerful car than the 100hp, but if you just wont the look then, 'get on it like a car bonnet' haha

It might 'look good'. But you will ruin the handling and the ride quality to boot. The car will be less progressive and seeing as it has a relatively short wheelbase that is not generally a great idea.

Not a fan of oversized wheels tbh.

Are there any problems of clearance in the off-side rear wheelarch where the fuel filler pipe runs?

In theory no, as long as you run wheels and tyres no wider than 195. But you'd need to find 195/30-17 or even 195/25-17 tyres. Good luck with that and good luck finding a place that'll be able to mount them. No matter what, it'll be hugely expensive.

The end result will be a crap ride, crap handling and looking extremely silly.

Thanks for that - I'm quite happy with the 15s but I just wondered as anything marginal in that area is a bit dodgy, presumably you'd have to be sure that the offset was right to maintain clearance (as well as geometry).
