Hi guys,

I've bought the pads and what I thought was the right size allen key but found out it was too small. Does anyone know off top of their heads what size allen key is needed for the brake calipers?

if its anything like a few cars i have tinkered with it will be a 7mm odd ball size can be had from most motorfactors... (which obviously you will be able to judge from what ever allan key you have already tried

I did mine a couple of days ago. No allen key was required as far as I remember. Perhaps you have different calipers on yours. This is the way I did it on my 2006 1.2 Dynamic with Bosch brake calipers:

• Pull out the split pin with pliers
• Drift out the pad retaining pin
• Unhinge the caliper upwards
• Pads can then be removed easily by hand

I also changed the discs and this required the caliper to be unbolted (two hex bolts). The pins were badly corroded so I replaced them with new ones from Fiat (a whopping £21 for their "kit")
