1st-30mph
2nd-60mph
3rd-got it to about 90
No. 5th (and 4th) on the 1.1 are for going the same speed as you were going before. Bit of a headwind or hill in 5th and you can be foot to the floor and still only doing 60.it pulls really well in 5th from 60 to 80 has anyone else noticed this?

only got 100 down a big big hill about 20mins from oswestry
not the best idea as the tyres are rated to 100 i think although they rate the tyres slower than they can actually do for safety purposes,
explain?
Good pointers here, http://www.2pass.co.uk/gears.htm and there'll be a driving instructor along in a minute to helpHi just wondering what max speed I should be doing in each gear. The engine is soo quiet I can hardly hear it and dont want to be thrashing it in the wrong gear (no rev counter either).
Thanks in advance.
Drive along in 5th. Press accelerator to floor. Speed == what it was before.explain?
If that is correct then the 1.1 is talled much higher than the 100HP! My 100HP will only do 50mph in 2nd, and 70mph in 3rd, and that's at about 7000rpm (not sure if the 1.1 will do that). The 100HP will do about 35mph in 1st though.
The 100hp has 6 gears though.
60bhp? I can only dream of 60 bhp! 1.1 Panda has 54bhp.Well I guess there is only so much 60bhp and not a lot of torque can do.
