Afternoon all,

Does anyone own a rock and roll blue dynamic.?

If so, would you mind posting some pics. I'm in the process of ordering one and haven't seen the actuall colour yet.

I just want to make sure it looks ok.

Thanks in advance (y)

Hello!!

I've e-mailed you some pictures taken in the snow last month!:D It looks black in some lights but its VERY dark blue.

What waiting time have you been quoted? Mine was 12 weeks:cry: Worth the wait though.
Mines an 'Active' only 'problem' is the lack of remote locking, this means the only way into the boot is with the key, which you then put down in the boot, close the boot & the rest of the car is still locked!! BE Warned!!:bang:
Other than that I'm very happy. MPG is getting better with each fill-up & its going like a little rocket!

Cheers Gareth

I do think that the 1.2 dynamic is a better value car when you consider the central locking, bigger engine and air con :)

I see you're on Fuelly and your wife has already claimed the Panda as well :D

It's tempting to bet 306 a fiver that he CANNOT find AC in my 1.2 Dynamic :p

The New Orleans blue does look a nice colour I have to say.

And it's good to see another Fuelly member here (y)

Yes but the 1.2 dynamic eco's on sale currently have it ;)

Hi Gareth,

Thanks for the update, looking forward to the pics.

The car is on it's way and has been built apparently. Should be able to have it from march 01st onwards. (y)

The days of getting a brand new Panda Active for £4995 are gone i'm afraid, and that was only a year ago, and before the scrappage scheme! :(

Yes, i agree, we bought a "pre reg" dynamic back in 2006 and that was £5995

It had about 3 miles on the clock.

It wasn't as highly spec'd as the eco dynamics so i suppose you're getting more for your £5995 now.

My 1.2 Dynamic Eco cost me £5995 brand new in Metallic paint 10 months ago.
I dont feel the scrappage donation from the state has been passed on fully, if at all. Prices shot up the day it was introduced.

They did?

I know it was a long time ago now, and I'm getting old so my memory isn't what it used to be, but I seem to remember Panda prices were pretty much the same all the way through last year, only going up with the introduction of the facelift model in November.

You're right, isn't it down to the higher cost of metals and import/export or something like that.

Like i said previously, at least the newer dynamics are higher specs than the originals.

Mine was brand new, 8 miles on the clock, metallic paint and the MJ engine which there is usually a premium for. Cost £6495 back in 2008! Got back 1 year later almost what I'd payed for it too as i got it that cheap.
