FWIW In my experience Polish Fiats (Seicento & Panda) have been better put together than Italian fiats (2 x Puntos)

Possible (probable?) that there may be different cooling system parts for models made for Scandinavia given how cold it can get there -- but since all Scandinavian countries drive left hand drive cars, would seem unlikely yours (RHD I presume) would have that spec. Was it bought and supplied in the UK? Given your proximity to the North Sea, is it possible that it was an import at all?

Scandinavian spec is different to Scandinavian manufacture.

UK spec essentially means the steering wheel on the RHS not made in the UK.

UK spec is just that isn't it?, specifcation of UK sold vehicle, equipment sold etc. Yes, there is the whole RHD/LHD thing, but trims etc is what is often refered to when talking about spec?

Take Japanise imports for example. They're Jap Spec, but still RHD.

Ta for that, defo not an import (registered in the midlands), probably just some rubbish the parts supplier was spinning to explain why they couldn't get parts. They even said they were RHD's also (I just assumed they were right ).

I believe the issue is the dual-logic gearbox, but they don't seem to understand just cos their computer says no :p :bang: (n)

Oh well. I'll get there in the end somehow. :)
