Hi All,

I have recently discovered this group while trying to find out more about the Panda 4x4 1.2.
I have looked through many postings about the 4x4 and realize it is not the quickest on the motorway, but this is for use by my girlfriend locally in rural Devon and she needs something for the winter lanes which can be wet or icy or snowy!

The Petrol 1.2 model is preferred as the Cross diesel is too expensive
I will be including the following options
Bluetooth
Sliding rear seats
Colour, probably one of the two yellows or another pale colour
Would I be able to specify “Quatrac 2” or an alternative on delivery??

She has a very old Fiesta so a scrappage purchase would be great.
Regarding Scrappage, I presume that the current scrappage price list from Fiat is honoured by ALL dealers, if not who in your experience has provided the best prices/service/deals/extras?

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be welcome please.

Thanks in advance :)
Robert

I can't speak for the 4x4 as i have a 100hp....

But looking online it seems that Fiatsupasaver are doing the 1.2 Petrol 4x4 for £9195 (no scrappage)

However looking at Perry's (where I got my 100hp) they are doing the 1.3Mjet 4x4 Cross for £9995 inc scrappage....

Obviously this will not have your options so you'll need to add a bit for those....

Oh and welcome to the forum / Panda group! (y)

Not sure where you are in Devon Robert but I had a job finding a 4x4 to try out. I'm Honiton East Devon way and if you want a look and try before you buy you're welcome.

Scrappage has to be honoured at any dealer against the list price. You need to ring around to see if you can get anything extra off. Perrys are always just about the cheapest place in the UK. fiatsupersaver might eb a tad cheaper but recent post suggests they aren't the most communicative at present.

With the options you've mentioned you'll be at around £11700 list price for the 1.2 petrol. You might want to think about adding air con too. Note esp/traction control is extra too although on a 4x4 maybe not so essential for those winter days.

Broadspeed indicate 30% discount off that but no scrappage - you'd need to complete a firm quote to find out the exact offering. www.new-car-discount.com indicate 1818 off a std car, no scrappage. Drive the deal is about £1000 off with the extras added so £10,600ish.

Wherever you end up buying you need to move very quickly - scrappage scheme finishes this month whether there is money left or not.

Hi Ross, Thanks for the offer.
We are near Axminster and would really appreciate a quick look/see before we make a final decision. PM to be sent. (y)
