Hi all ive managed to find a different way of fitting a power point /aux socket on the active eco. Rather than going in through the wing and door there is a blanking plate in the middle of the bulk head near the top. Then just ran the wires through from the battery with a inline fuse and fitted power point in glove box . cheers Mick

Very tidy indeed, When I was looking at mine last week I noticed it had a power point of some description near the cup holders. I shall be investigating further when I collect it on Wednesday :)

Most Pandas do, but the base model leaves it out, hence needing this mod. Mine has a cigarette lighter there, not 'just' a power plug -- which I believe was an option.

Yup Very tidy job!! :D

I'll be copying you!
One thing though (not clear in original post)... make very sure you put a rubber grommit in the bulkhead hole to pass the wires through -- that's the place they are most likely to chafe and then cause a short (and potentially, unless properly fused like Mick's, a fire too)

Looks like you done a good job, i'm trying to follow the pictures but i can't find a hole through which to pass the wires.

Can you clarify if had to drill a hole in the bulk head and if not where is the hole?

Pleased I joined this forum, we need the same thing, as our daughter is now driving the panda and has no sense of direction.
Where did you get the cigar lighter from?

My local cheapo shop are selling the lighter/socket for £2.
A cheaper option IME is to buy a double extension socket. I have 2 lighter sockets plus 2 USB sockets on an extension lead, cost less than a fiver off ebay. clip the plug off the end and wire as above. The socket has some double sided tape on the back but I used a 2 part epoxy to stick my socket in place. (mine's on the shelf above the window in my doblo & I tapped into a spare carrier on my fuseboard so it switches with the ignition.

I run a dash cam, my satnav and can charge phones & use other equipment that requires power via USB.
