My Panda needs the vent in the boot sparewheelwell replacing due to it leaking and the well filling with water. My car is under 3 years old, is this something that should be covered by the warranty? Its not a part I would have 'worn out'? I believe there is a difference in the third year of our 2 year warranty?

Oh, and they have just told me it didn't need the ABS recall work doing as the required parts were already fitted? March 2007 car?

For the 3rd year warranty Fiat will charge a labour charge for looking at the car if it is found to have nothing wrong with it or if the warranty claim is not accepted.

As for the ABS recall, my 100HP is also a March '07 car and did not require the new parts to be fitted.

I would have said that a spare wheel well that fills with water is claimable. As long as you haven't put anything in there to block a drain hole/vent. Just my opinion.
