Hello Panda lovers!

I continue to talk about buying a Panda 4x4. Originally i had dillusions of grandeur and thought i'd only buy a Cross but reality has stepped in and the 1.2 4x4 is my only option.

I'm interested to know what sort of range 4x4 owners get from their fuel tanks. I'd use the car for trips abroad and the small fuel tank coupled with lowish (in todays terms) mpg concerns me a little when petrol stations are few and far between.

6 gallon tank, about 40mpg, gives about 240 miles per tank. On a long run at a steady 60mph, you'll see maybe 42mpg, so can eek a tad more out of the tank.

I went to the local Fiat dealer after work today. 2nd hand prices are stupid. I can get a brand new Panda from Perry's or Fiatsupasaver for the price the dealer is asking for 07 plate cars.

what price is the 07?

7495 for an 07.

Been back to the dealer tonight. My missus likes them but thinks we should push the boat out for a Cross. If only I could find one near ish to Derby. Local dealer not interested in finding one for us.

Perry's of Aylesbury have a pre-owned Cross: check ebay (search for Panda 4x4). Nearly £10k though...
