I have the phantom radio switcher on syndrome.
There are a couple of posts on this subject advising resetting to factory defaults.
Is this a dealer job? If not how? I didn't get a radio handbook when I bought the car (second hand) last year.

Unfortunately my car is a 2005 one, with an older radio/cd, I've checked and the Menu options are not the same.
Is there a download for the older handbook.
Or can someone tell me how to do a reset.

I have the manual fro a 2005 Panda CD/Radio at home - will take a look later for you (not aware of having seen any options to reset this though...)

Although they are 2007 books, one of them may match your 2005 car. Hope so, I don't have any earlier ones.

Sorry - no mention of a Reset function in the 2005 instruction book. Under Menu options (where it does appear in the 2007 version) it lists only:

• User EQ setting
• Preset/User/Classic/Rock/Jazz
• Regional Mode
• CD Display
• CDC display (changer display if fitted)
• Sensitivity
• SVC setting
• CD Naming Function
• Phone setting
• Hicut function
• Ignition timer

Thanks for info. Looks as though you can't reset from the radio.

Would it reset if I disconnect the battery for some time - (overnight) ?
