Having ordered the Panda at the beginning of August I finally got it delivered today, unfortunately due to the inclement weather have been unable to get a pic of it clean.

It has got the new mirrors on it for 2010, which work well but do look a little large on such a small car.

Also due to the weather I haven't even entertained pressing the sport button

I won't be able to give it a decent run until after christmas when I drive back down to Sunny Surrey(currently staying at my brothers farm near Lincoln).

The last week I've had to rely on lifts from colleagues due to having no car just a motorbike

Wow that took ages...why so long?Unusual spec?Anyway I wouldnt be afraid of the Sport button ...it will give you more steering feel which is essential in this weather...Good luck and enjoy!

Not an unusual spec - only ordered Red with subwoofer and skydome!

I don't know why it's taken so long, it should have arrived mid-end October, it was apparently at the dealers at the beginning of December.

I bought online from Autofinders who had problems with Fiat honouring the discount and not releasing the car.

Hope your enjoyin the new car im luvin mine i got it 2 weeks ago and never left it alone since. I've bought a set of the standard size mirrors from ebay cos i didn't like large ones . Put the sport button on mine is on 24/7 .

though I ordered after you I picked mine up at the start of the month - with small mirrors. are there any other differences? I was told the only other difference on the 100hp was the seat fabric.
Interesting you say the car was at the dealers at the start of the month, the pdi stamp in my handbook indicated mine was there about two weeks before they told me.
I'll look out for you in Surrey - no getting mine mixed up with yours in the car park.

To be honest the only difference I can tell is the wing mirrors, appears otherwise to be identical to my brothers two year old 100hp.

It is currently sitting outside my brothers farmhouse looking filthy, covered in road salt

Actually the sport button adds weight, but alas no more feel a such which is lacking in the 100hp (well pandas in general).

I would agree though, no reason not to use the sport button just because of the weather. I've never driven mine out of sport mode (well I tried it for five minutes and came to the conclusion that sport mode is the default mode).

Sorry for the delay in reply, just been up to the house in Scotland wishing we had bought the 'Cross' instead as we couldn't get to the house due to the snow...

So yes, I am indeed over 'there' too...

DJ Andy, Do you have any pictures comparing the new (big) and original (small) mirrors? I'm considering buying new 100HP and a bit sceptical about the new mirrors being too big and ugly from artist's impressions I've seen already - I reckon the old (small) ones add a cheeky side to it. I've not seen the new mirrors yet. Do the small mirrors still fit ok? Is the grille still the same on the new car? Apparently they made changes to the instrument panel as well? What changes are these? Are the wheels still the same? Any pics of interior also appreciated to see what they've done to the materials.

PS: Already seen the red/pink coloured pictures you get if you google the facelift, but after real pics.

About to go and have a look at Autofinder as well, to compare to Fiatsupasaver....

The only thing that is different it seems are the bigger mirrors. There is a thread her somewhere with the big mirrors on the 100hp.

The dashboard and grill 'upgrades' were on the lesser models. Wheels haven't changed either. Don't think there are any differences on interior trim for the 100hp.

The mirrors look ok to me, I quite like them. They also appear to be heated.

There don't appear to be any other changes as far as I can tell.

Had a look at new and old mirrors at a local dealer last night. Was inclined to agree with someone else who said that the mirrors looked like they belonged on a transit van (can't remember who said this) but looking at this picture, you're right, they don't actually look too bad. I think I'd be inclined to give them a chance at least before considering getting smaller ones, particularly if they're now also heated.
