Got my 100hp today its brill well happy with it just a shame im working tonight and had to park it up till the morn

hi dj what is the gearbox and clutch like ie: is it nice and light to use,also what colour is it:yum:
Gearbox is one of the nicer Ive used and that includes MX5...in fact its prob in my top 4 or 5 gearboxes out of dozens of cars driven (Best MX5 , M5 , Ford Puma ...)Clutch is nice too ...fairly close to floor by default which I like ...mind you 'cento clutchs used wear "IN" to rather than "OUT" of the floor so I hope it doesnt mean its wearing fast!
Disappointed by relative position of clutch and brake pedal ...using one foot to operate both pedals simultaneously ('heel and toeing') is almost impossible...This is a big issue for me but 'centos had it too and I adored them so guess I will live with it ...

thanks for the info what is the best colour vote for the 100hp?
I got a red but blue and grey are gorgeous ,or white ,even black which I normally hate (all that washing!)...come to think of it I dont think there IS a bad colour and if there was it MIGHT just be red...(are there actually TWO shades of red in Panda/100hp?)
Try Sport button on, and rather than literally 'heel n toeing,' try positioning your big toe on the brake pedal, and little toe on the throttle and rocking your foot side to side! (best way i could think to describe it) I have learned that technique with this car and it works with lots of practice! Doesn't work as well without the sport mode on, and also my car is an 07 model with an over-servoed brake system which actually makes heel n' toeing much easier!
I do think the gearbox is good but by far the best gearbox i have used is in a good friends TVR T350, best feel, precision and pedal layout i've ever experienced!

was that a black one ? mine was brand new in white
its a white one , i think the gears and box ok i've been running desiels for last 7 years so takin a bit of getting used too.
