Hi. I noticed my reverse light had was no longer working. Having nothing to do today I got cracking with checking the fuse box and bulb.

However, after getting the rear light cluster off (not the easiest of things to do) and checking the fuses, there do not seem to be any problems at all.

Are there any other possible causes for the broken light? Anything fairly simple I should take a look at before getting fiat to have a look? If I can get this fixed myself, it would be alot more convenient.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Check the wire that connects to the reverse light switch on the outside of the gearbox (it is directly under where the battery is, and points forwards towards the radiator fan). The wire is very thin and in a plastic protective sleeve. On mine that plastic sleeve had pulled away, but I spotted this and re-taped it into place before anything broke. A similar problem on my Multipla caused the wire to the horn to break just where it went into the plug.
