Has anybody fitted a set of Roof Bars to their Panda equiped with a Skydome roof (on a Panda without the roof rails)? The fixing points are there, I'm just worried about the weight and extra stress on the glass roof (I will be carrying a Mountain Bike). I've looked in the owners manual and it doesn't say anything about it. I've got a nice set of Thule bars waiting to go on so any opinions will be gratfully recieved.

I have a skydome and the longitudnal roof bars. I have added on some Thule cross bars and a Thule Ranger roof box and filled it with a pushchair and a load of other things when heading off for a few days without any problems.

I can't see you having any problems adding on the cross bars and a bike rack. Probably a bit less weight than my roof box and its contents. :)

Well I've had word back from Thule and they say that they're not suitable. They are secured by clamping rather than bolting onto the roof.I guess the compression force would be to much for the roof to take:(
