I've been scouring the internet for more information...all I've found is the italiaspeed story and the fact the only 1.2 that achieves the 113g/km rating is the 500 1.2 StartStop...

I suppose it's all hush hush until the official launch in November.

It is the ECO model so start/stop is a possibility...i'm sure that feature isn't to everyones taste...would freak me out to have the engine cut out like that...I could get used to the fuel savings though

Unless FIAT boffins have some other cleverness they've applied to the engine...?

I've been comparing specs against the 1.2 500 model, looks like 69bhp / 860 kg will be good for 0-60 in 12.5 seconds and 99mph

I doubt the in-gear performance will be a match for the multijet...but of course I bought it for the frugality NOT the performance...this new 1.2 really is a nice surprise Just hope it is true!
