There were bigger changes when the interior changed to black and when the ecos were launched so it is hardly a series 2. Is the eleganza now an eco?

The configurator has been showing the painted grill for ages.

Fiat are odd like that.

The current Grande Punto is called the Series 2, when it was just a few mild changes, whereas the new model coming out next year is being called the facelift despite having much bigger changes

I don't think so...

It does seem odd that Fiat would continue with the non-Eco 1.2, especially as the 1.2 is no longer in the Grande Punto and is already £35 tax in the 500.

One day I will understand the way Fiat do things...

I just tried calling one off, and it reverted to a Series 1
