Just sold my Dry Turquoise 4x4 Climbing to a pleasant fella from Yorkshire.
It's been on sale since Oct with no interest, then 2 people interested this weekend, must be the snow that prompts them to look for a 4x4.
Now, I got £3500 but that is £500 more than offered at trade-in so myself and buyer both happy.
Wiped away a tear as "The Gaymobile" drove away.
My buyer has got himself a bargain and can expect many years of trouble-free motoring from that little car.

Ever since Fiat produced the original Panda 4x4 I have wanted one. When the Nuova Panda came out in the UK as a 4x4 I was in a position to buy one. Even then I wanted the Diesel-engined version but it was not available so I bought the petrol version.
When the Diesel version arrived I just had to have one. The trade-in was not good so I kept the car for a private sale. As you see, I got £500 more from a private sale so I'm happy.
Believe me, there was nothing wrong with my 4x4 Climbing and I drove it for the first time for ages today before I sold it and realised what fun it could be.
The Cross is just so much more relaxing to drive over a distance.

Trevor, I'm glad that you are pleased with your purchase.
I would rather see my car go to an enthusiast like yourself than some ordinary punter.
Please look after it and change the oil at least once a year, maybe apply a bit of polish at times.

Looks like you've got a really nice 4x4 Trevor(y) I'd looked at it a few times on here as I'd been looking for a good one for a while but just a bit far away from where I'm located.

I've just bought one yesterday though, so hope it will be as good as yours:)

Thanks for all your welcomes! Of course I'll look after it Chris - I always try hard to care for cars I own!

I'm between Whitby and Guisborough just off the A171 so the car should look after me particularly in the winter when trying to get up Birk Brow (steep windy dual carriageway/uphill) that always closes as soon as any snow arrives!

Welcome. Judging by Chris's posts, you've got a well looked after car there.

Not that far away from me, we used to try and get snowed in to The Lion at Blakey Ridge for a lock-in. Never quite managed it though :(

get to Dalby and have a play on the fire roads (most lead to carparks but were all but impassable due to the snow in my punto ;)

might still be some snow up there (there was last monday a good 6" to a foot.... there is a couple of backways into dalby if you can find them ;)

Trevor, Here are a few shots from 2005 of your Panda off-road.

Its ok i was just joking you see so many landrovers' for sale where they state "never been taken off road" my mate at one point looked at loads of them and guess what, the bits you cant see with out crawling under one told a different story

its one car i would like is the 4x4 panda but no job at the moment sort of puts the kibosh on any silly ideas i have :( would be great for going mountain biking especially the ones with the roof rail's) then again i can't really knock my punto (if it ain't broke and all that) Just lacks the underbody protection from potholed Forrest tracks and only got stuck once

Andy, not having a job is God's way of telling you to slow down!
I'm not working but, for various ways, I'm not skint.
We could meet up for a trip in my Cross and some ATB riding but I'm probably nowhere near as fit as you.
Chris.

oh no im not skint by a long way i saved up big style when i sensed the company i worked for was in trouble and jus got my redundency which has been stuck into ISA's and some into Premium bonds, but there is no point it spending it for spending sake. Just don't know how long i'll be out of a job with the way it is at the moment so been frugal oh and enjoying putting my feet up knowing my luck i'll get a job just as the good weather starts

Going on a Forklift truck course next week paid for by the job center (got to get something back for my NI contributions)

Im in Goole East yorkshire about an hour fifteen away from where Trevor lives (on a good day) dalby is a good place for Mountain biking especially if your with someone who knows it well ;) but im far from fit
