My driver side window seems to be playing up....

Can anyone confirm which of these operations are working correctly?

From fully closed:

Press quickly and release....Window moves down a fraction and stops
Press for longer........Window opens fully

From partially closed:

Press quickly and release....Window moves up a fraction and stops
Press for longer........Window closes

I'm sure it used to close fully from fully open with the longer button press....?

From fully open:

Press quickly and release....Window closes a fraction and stops
Press for longer........Window closes about 5cm (2") and stops (you can hear the switch / relay click)
Press again (longer press)....Window closes fully

The operation in Red is the one that seems to have changed

Yep from fully open, holding the switch for a couple of seconds sends it either all the way down or all the way up on mine.... and the same from partially open too.

I guess the switch or the relay must be dodgy then....

I'll get it booked in.

Could just be frozen. If it encounters resistance during closing, the window stops, thinking its at the top. Probably ice in the runners, or just that the rubber seal is too stiff as its cold. Doubt it needs the dealer...

It stops at 5cm on mine also. Probably due to cold weather...I guess.
I hope it will operate perfectly at warmer weather condition. If not then I'll check its mechanics...

Cheers guys....It seems to be working 'normally' today so hopefully it's a cold weather thing!?

Mine started to stick on the 'up' during colder weather, went to the dealer who squirted WD40 into the seals, works lovely now.....

WD40 solved the problem on mine also....

Now the weather is a bit warmer mine is working normally again
