Temperatures are plummeting, the Siberian air moves in on us and I rejoice as I anticipate some decent snow to drive my Cross upon.

Skinny-tyred Actives with your relatively low power are well suited to running on snow and should do well.

100HP drivers, just take it easy on the throttle and your front wheel drive will make the BMWs and Mercs look silly.

If anyone gets stuck around the Sunderland area then I'm happy to pull them out. Phone 07870832137!

I jolly well hope it dont snow its cold enough as it is brrrr

Alas I have found my scraper so all is well, except the 4 under inflated tyres that need to be sorted :(

left work at 07.00 this morning, got home and my road a solid sheet of ice. what fun in the 100hp. i can confirm the abs works. (y)

the threat of snow may reach the high ground of Hertfordshire too by Friday... hope so:) Even without snow, the Vredestein Quatrac tyres do grip very well on the cold, salted roads (and much better than the old Bridgestones did) which the Multipla seems to find 'greasy' by comparison.

Given that DrChris is a bit far away, I may follow my grandad's advice and put a small shovel, tow rope and spare warm coat in the car in readiness...

Stupid Panda. Had a hard time getting all the ice of the windows this morning, only for the Panda to remind me of something along the lines of "warning, road surface may be frozen". No ****, sherlock.

we had snow bout 2 weeks ago and its great fun to drive the handbrake is the thing to use to get you out most of the time i found just make sure your on a very flat road before you give any power
