Just like to know what sort of mileages are being done out there and whats gone wrong at what mileage. My multijets done 45k, had the usual taigate handle microswitch problem at 3 years 36k and asked garage to check out a very minor concern on coolant loss they said waterpump had staining from fluid loss & replaced under warranty. A warning light came on while I was out of the country at 2 years 24k missus said it was an emissions light likely to be an exhaust gas recirculation issue & garage took all day to replace. Was a bit concerned a rear tyre wore unevenly rear right out of alignment not adjustable but within limits hasnt reocurred as yet. Radio volume knob broke really easily too. Getting 60mpg on long motorway runs so overall a happy bunny. So if you would let me know how you are all getting on piling on the miles that would be great thanks.

Theres nearly 90,000km on the Multijet my mother now has; 50,000 miles on my old Active and I've got 6,500km on the 100HP I took delivery of at the very end of August...

The MJ had continous issues with the engine loosing power but once it was sorted its never had any real problems. The Active is indestructable - it was crashed, repeatedly, but never had a mechanical failure - but the wiper stalk was smashed off once. Neither car has ever let anyone down. The 100HP is too new to tell...

My MJ's coolant level keep dropping too and has only done 8000 miles. I wonder if i am experiencing a similar problem? I can't see any signs of leaking but then again I'm not looking that hard. Next time I'm near a Fiat garage I'll have to drop it in for a second opinion.

My Panda's at 57000 miles, after 33 months.
Interestingly, mine is a Multijet, and has had a new waterpump... (It started squeaking)

12,300 in my 1.2 in nearly three years ..by god I been burning some rubber..:D

41,600 in an 04 eleganza.

Problems, erm a few (3) light bulbs and an air con re-gas.. thats it!!!

Oh and the boot mech likes to open whilst you drive - This gives it character and no luggage!!!

And for those about to take delivery of a new Panda, how about "who has the Panda with the least miles?"
He He.
By the way, my 4x4 Climbing, about to retire from service with me, has clocked up 32,200 miles without any drama over the past 39 months.

Ask me again in a couple of years - racked up 15k problem free miles in 7 1/2 months :D

Hi folks,

Panda with the most miles and what has gone wrong......mmmmm.

Quick pop out to the MJ and I see it has 139876 Km things on it (87,422 Miles). Bought as a 'Demo' with 4323 Kms on it in April 05, having been registered in January 2005.

Had a fuel sensor problem while it was still in warranty, limped about for three days before getting it fixed, bulb on the dashboard has gone twice (different one each time).

Have an intermittent problem with temporary loss of power when starting off in the early morning. Might happen once a month, car will tick over but does not want to rev up. Sit for about a minute nursing it and then it recovers and off we go.

Engine Management Light comes on now and then. I believe it is telling me about the problem in the last paragraph :)

I have been watching posts about similar problems but not sure what it is yet. Due to go to city tomorrow and will see if I can it diagnosed by Fiat garage (none locally).

Otherwise MJ is coming up on 4 old and at the rate I am travelling, it will have about 100,000 miles on it by January next. Still getting an average of early to mid 60s in the MPG stakes. Not too bad then.

I will keep you posted on the intermittent lost of power in the early AM.

Safe driving out there.

Damn I was hoping to be the one with the least mileage. 2 years and 9 months I have done a grand total of 14,000 miles. Overall 25,000 miles on a four and a half year old car bonus!

Recently i saw an 04 reg yellow active for sale on ebay with 77,000 miles. According to the seller it was mint and drove like a new car with no faults at all, everything worked. The bid started at £2000 no reserve and as far as i know, nobody placed a bid! Looked tidy for the mileage but what put people off IMO was the towbar! A towbar on an Active?!

I was told the average mileage now is 15k miles a year....is that true:confused:

Had my 100hp 8 months now and only just reached approx 5500 miles (y)

My 100HP is 1.5 years old and its currently sitting at 13.5k miles.

Trying to slow it down a bit as they seem to have piled on the past few months.
