:mad:Ive had my active now for 2 months and its been back to the dealer 4 times with the same problem, which its seems they are unable to fix.The car judders and cuts out at low speeds, its not even a year old yet.It only does this every couple of days.On the first visit they said they could not find a problem, the second visit they put a new mass censor on it,the third time they put a new ignition switch on,then the fourth time they replaced all the ht leads and guess what today it cut out twice and started to judder.Ive seen my arse with the car and the dealer, unless when they plug it in and the computer tells them the problem fiat have not got a clue.Gonna lose money now but its gotta go.:mad::mad:

Have you considered rejecting the car as unfit for purpose? Might lose less money on it in that case :D

Shame, sounds like you ended up with a lemon. At least Fiat are making an effort to fix it, admittedly they can't but at least they're trying. My advice is to get a mate to pretend to steal it then have them set it on fire, then claim on the insurance! Joke obviously but i know how annoying it is when cars won't work! Good luck sorting it out

Reject the car.
I had almost exactly the same experience with a Smart Roadster a while back, and rejected the car. I was given a brand new replacement - even down to the car mats and other extras I'd had fitted to the original car.
Have a look at WhatCar website for info on how to do it - that's what I did.
They'll try and fob you off but stick with it.
If they get really annoying contact WhatCar as they do sometimes intervene. They did for me because Mercedes (as we all know) have about the worst customer service in the world, and the dealer was being ridiculous but after one phone call from WhatCar to Mercedes UK, (who told the dealer to play ball) I got the replacement.
Good luck!

Bought a chinchento when they first came out 1992/3 brand new, and it was a nightmare. When the dealer couldnt fix various problems they said it was a ''design fault''. At 13 months on start up the engine was rattling itself to death. Knew i had to bite the bullet and get rid and take the loss. [Not easy for a tight wad like me].
Anyway traded it in for a ex demo suzuki swift with 1400 miles on the clock and approx 14 years later still got having now done 75k miles. Never missed a beat. Front tyres lasted 55k worn dead even and still had 2mm on. As a matter of fact all ive done is an oil change every 18 month, front pads at 47k, 2 air filters, set of outer drive shaft rubbers, and last year new radiator £67.
Yes still got original spark plugs in and still giving 50 mpg.
Fiats are renowned for being a poor quality, poor mans buy.
Japanese are renouned for being good.
