Hi people, just thought I'd show you my vid of me ragging my multijet round our awesome forest roads! How many of you want to take your 100hp's on this road?

Also, does anybody recognize this stretch of road? It was used on a TV advert for Vauxhall about ten years ago, they had a bumper mounted cam, drove along it then sped it up. It was pretty cool! I love this road and it's only 5 mins from my house so i go on it every day (almost) Enjoy

Road looks nice, but it's just a bit of a shame there's such limited visibility and it's single track. :)

Looks like fun, but like Chris said with such poor visibility and it being singletrack the thought of something coming the other way is going to slow you down somewhat. Also you'd have to know it incredibly well I think.

Must admit i'd prefer a fast A/B-road where I can sight and use the whole road.

So, no unfortunately its not a 100hp owners dream.

That's more like it, although that guy has to be one of the lamest riders I've seen in a long while! :ROFLMAO:

What, doesn't yours rev to 13,000? :D

There were a load of full speed runs on youtube, but they were taken down. Anyway, I'm sure this one won't upset the hysterical mob as it's all above board :)

Helmsley to Stokesley, aka Helmsley TT.

No mine doesn't rev to 13,000 RPM, it's a diesel! lol

There's some cracking roads in the UK, i could never live in the states, imagine every road looking the same, no twists or turns, no hair pins or jumps, no dangerous overtaking. Even if you could buy a decent car in the states you wouldn't be able to enjoy it. My road tax is only £35 to so i definitely get my monies worth ;)

I used to live in Macclesfield at the bottom of one of the most infamous roads in the UK.

The Cat and Fiddle A537 running from Macc to Buxton, although I always maintain that its much better on the downhill in a car.

It is one of the few roads that has a name for every corner!

I used to train on the downhill when i was racing, although I tended to do it in the winter when it was wet and greasy (no bikers or police helicopters around at that time of year).

Site with vid (bit of a boring vid but you get the idea, speeding on the internet is not allowed anymore):

It wasn't the speed I meant - just his manner as a rider and his lack of overtaking when they first presented themselves and then doing a risk overtake in a tighter space.

Cat and fiddle is also an excellent route, as is the Snake Pass between Sheffield and Glossop (y) In fact there are loads of excellent routes :ROFLMAO:

If I'm being honest, I've had to make evasive manoeuvres to avoid lunatic bikers on the Helmsley TT several times. Some don't seem to realise if they are leaning over at 30' and their wheels are technically in their side of the white lines, their heads are on collision course with your headlights/windscreen!

To redress the balance there are also plenty of safe riders. There are also plenty, if not more, stupid drivers!
